Business Analyst

As Business Analyst, you are the connecting link between our IT team and our client’s business departments. You create process and product specifications that are market- and customer-driven, recommend solutions in regards of business and technical requirements and coordinate the implementation of new corporate systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and review business requirements together with business units and customers
• Plan and execute workshops in the course of requirements engineering
• Prepare specifications, user stories, business processes and recommendations in connection with the proposed IT solutions
• Develop concepts to support the definition of requirements with the departments
• Conduct impact analysis of application and process changes
• Provide support in the creation of test plans for software products
• Act as interface to software development teams to clarify requirements
• Contribute to innovative ideas for the continuous improvement of our software products
• Consult our customers´ business units in the field of process optimization with focus on digitalization and automation

Your Qualification

• Completed studies (logistics, business informatics, computer science, etc.) or comparable
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of business analysis
• Several years of experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Logistics and Transport
  • Process analysis and process design
  • Business analysis in the area of application development
• Analytical and cross-system thinking ability to break down and optimize business requirements
• Independent, responsible and solution-oriented working style
• High level of commitment, personal initiative and strong communication and assertiveness
• Very good English skills and commercial understanding
